Neighborhood Cardigan
Neighborhood Cardigan
This is a classic design for a v-neck cardigan with set-in sleeves and contrast color pockets. Knitting the sweater with Cloudborn’s fingering weight twisted wool creates a lightweight, but cozy cardigan, great for layering and when you want something warm without a lot of bulk. This pattern does employ some short-row shaping for the neck and shoulders, and it is knit from the top down. The button band that travels all the way around the sweater boasts an i-cord bind-off for a professional finish.
YARN
You’ll need 1390/1510/1680/1830/1970/2110/2220/2310/2420/2510 yds of a fingering weight yarn. Used here, 4/4/5/5/5/6/6/6/7/7 skeins of Cloudborn Wool Fingering Twist in Prism (402yds/100g). Optional: a small amount of yarn in a contrasting colour in the same weight to work the pockets.
