Continental Sweater Knitting Pattern
Simple, yet classic, made with the dreamiest wool; you’ll never want to take this sweater off. A yoke- style pullover, this piece is worked in the round from the top down. The ease and simplicity of making this sweater would make it a good first-time project, or also a good choice for the more experienced knitter looking for a project they can knit without looking—ideal for holiday knitting, knitting with friends, or knitting during exciting movies.
YARN
Woolfolk Tynd Merino Wool (204 m/50 g), any color (shown here in col. 19), 5/5/5/6/6/7/7/7/8/8 skeins (approximately 850/920/1020/1120/1200/1270/ 1330/1400/1460/1520 metres).
NEEDLES
3.5 mm 24” circular needles and a set of 4 or 5 double-pointed needles in the same size (or size required to obtain gauge).
GAUGE
24 sts x 32 rows in stockinette.
MEASUREMENTS/SIZING
36/38/40/42/44/46/48/50/52/54” around chest (with 3-4” of positive ease, so if your bust measures 32”, make size 36).
OTHER MATERIALS REQUIRED
Stitch markers and waste yarn/yarn holder.
