Cape of Invisibility
The stranded colourwork in this cape is based on an Icelandic magical stave for disguise; in Icelandic, it is called Hulinhjalmur. The spell itself is a bit grisly, but once done, it was supposed to prevent your enemies from seeing you. The stave is beautiful on its own and lends itself well to intarsia knitting.
